Yoga Retreat at Jim’s Jungle Retreat, Corbett Tiger Reserve with Yash

This summer, we invite you to relax in the cool shades of Corbett’s jungles at Jim’s Jungle Retreat. Experience a blend of wild and luxury beautifully held together with a garnish of Kumaoni hospitality. Indulge in outdoors and explore the woods with a professional naturalist. Leave the city behind – out of sight, out of mind and reconnect with yourself.Away from the noise outside and within, practise yoga in ancient forests , wake up to chirping birds and feed your botanical curiosity on the path of self discovery.

About
Jim's Jungle Retreat

A forest environment awaits you in the midst of buffer forests in Corbett’s southern jungles. Away from civilisation, the seasonal river nearby hosts grazing deer, root-digging wild boar and migrating elephant herds, enjoyed from the safety of our solar-fenced property. Our water bodies and forest cover, planted over a decade, are now home to several bird and mammalian species.

Fair warning: your dinner could be disturbed by the trumpeting of a wandering tusker, impelling you to rush to the retreat’s edge to view the magnificent being. Or be surprised by the intense, goosebump-inducing growl of a tiger patrolling her territory, by the playful tantrums of the resident mongoose family, by the scurrying away of a porcupine as you walk our various trails.

Every day is a celebration of the nature that surrounds us. Spread over 15 acres of lush forest, Jim’s Jungle Retreat gives you the wild ecosystems of Corbett Park right at the doorstep of 18 aesthetically designed and exclusive accommodation units. Fauna of all shape and size can be searched for and viewed during the many seasonal moods of Corbett, via Jeep Safaris, on Naturalist-led Interpretation and Bird Watching Walks and by Cycling Expeditions.

The food is farm-to-table fresh, organic and especially curated for the gastronomy-seeker, with dishes sourced from secret Raj recipes, from the hills of Kumaon, from the Mughlai kitchens of Rampur, and country-style contemporary world cuisine. Every meal is a treat to your taste buds; the menu never repeated during your stay, unless of course, you ask us for the dish again!

As an eco-sensitive lodge spread over 15 acres, our conservation practices include waste management, the use of solar energy, organic vegetables grown for the table and the recycling of bath water through a root-zone treatment plant for irrigation.
